1787
On 18th December, 1787, New Jersey became the 3rd state to ratify the U.S. Constitution. New Jersey is a state what is located in the Northeastern and mid-Atlantic areas of the United States. 1878

The resolution comprising the language of the Eighteenth Amendment to ratify Prohibition was approved by the United States Congress on 18th December, 1917. The Eighteenth Amendment is also called Amendment XVIII. It is an important thing of the United States Constitution what appropriately established the prohibition of alcoholic beverages in the United States by proclaiming the transport, production, and sale of alcohol illegal. The distinct Volstead Act set down approaches for imposing the 18th Amendment, and defined which “intoxicating liquors” were banned, and which were omitted from prohibition. Prohibition in the United States was a nationwide legitimate ban on the production, transportation, importation and sale of alcoholic beverage. This ban lasted from the year 1920 to year 1933. During the 19th century, family violence, alcoholism, and saloon-based political deceit prompted activists. The United States Congress is the dual parliament of the federal government of the United States consisting of 2 chambers and those are the Senate and the House of Representatives.

1932
The Chicago Bears defeated the Portsmouth Spartans in the 1st NFL Championship Game on 18th December, 1932. The Chicago Bears are a professional and popular American football team. It is developed based in Chicago, Illinois. The Bears compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference North division. Their home stadium was Universal Stadium. This is called today as Spartan Municipal Stadium. The 1932 NFL Playoff Game was an extra game what held to break a tie in the 1932 season’s final standings in the National Football League.

1935
The Lanka Sama Samaja Party was originated in Ceylon on 18th December, 1935. The Battle of the Heligoland Bight was the 1st “named” air fight of the Second World War, which started the longest air movement of the conflict, the Defense of the Reich. On 3rd September 1939, the United Kingdom professed battle on Nazi Germany after the German attack of Poland, which begun the European Battle. The British did not support Poland by land or sea, but over the resultant weeks, RAF Bomber Command flew many missions against German targets. A number of these air raids were engrossed at Kriegsmarine warships in German ports to break their use in the Combat of the Atlantic.

1958
Project SCORE, the world’s 1st communications satellite was started on 18th December, 1958. Project SCORE was the world’s 1st communications satellite. This started aboard an American Atlas rocket on 18th December, 1958. SCORE provided a 1st test of a communications what transmit system in space, as well as the 1st positive use of the Atlas as an introduction automobile. This captured world care by broadcasting a Christmas message by short wave radio from U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower through an on-board tape recorder. A communications satellite is an false satellite. It transmits and increases radio telecommunications signals via a transponder. This creates a message channel between a source transmitter and a receiver at different sites on Earth. Communications satellites are mainly used for television, radio, telephone, internet, and military applications.

1966
On 18th December, 1966, Saturn’s moon Epimetheus was exposed by astronomer Richard Walker. Saturn is the 6th planet from the Sun and this is the 2nd largest in the Solar System, after Jupiter. This is a gas massive with an average radius what around 9 times that of Earth. This has only one-eighth the average compactness of Earth, but with its larger volume Saturn is more than 95 times massive. Epimetheus is an inner satellite of Saturn. This is also called as Saturn XI. This is called after the mythological Epimetheus, brother of Prometheus.

1973
The Islamic Development Bank was founded on 18th December, 1973. The Islamic Development Bank is a multilateral development what financing institution. It is situated in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It was developed in the year 1973 by the Finance Ministers at the first Organization of the Islamic Conference with the support of the king of Saudi Arabia at the time and started its activities from 20th October 1975. On 18th December, 2006, United Arab Emirates hold its first-ever elections. The United Arab Emirates is called the Emirates. It is a federal total kingdom in Western Asia at the southeast end of the Arabian Peninsula on the Persian Gulf. The 1st elections ever to be held in the United Arab Emirates held on 16th December, 18th December and 20th December 2006. Half of the Federal National Council, which has 4o members were selected.
